Clicking map points on the hazard editor screen and will create circles for each click. These circles represent where the hazards will occur. Dragging lines from the circle and clicking in some points along the line to bend them will influence the motion of the traveling hazard.

The following table describes the functions of the buttons at the bottom of the trap editor.

Back to Main Menu Retun out of the hazard editor screen.
Load Trap Load an existing trap file.
Save Trap Save your changes to a new trap file.
Set Start Time When to set the trap to start.
Set Duratio Set how long you wish for the trap to operate.

Troubleshooting/FAQ

  1. Why cannot I not add more than x number of hazards?
    • Our logistics module prevents the map from being too saturated with hazards so that we can maintain a realistic experiance and preserve a certain frame rate.
  2. How do I make this kind of hazard happen?
    • Currently atomic simple traps are supported. Advanced traps with scalable start and end movements are planned for future.
  3. Why can't I load a trap file I made earlier?
    • Check the permissions. Could be possible this software can't read the file.
  4. Why can't I save my trap?
    • Are you saving in a directory you have write access to? It's possible the software can't write that trapfile to your computer.
  5. The trajectory for the hazard goes through a building. Is this possible?
    • Yes. Traps can go through building. Howver you can modify the trajectory for rhe trap. Click on the line and click on points along the line to stretch the curve out. This permits you to adjust trap trajectory.
