Watch this movie.

This year Active Ignorance was composed mainly of new people who seemed to be very enthusiastic about making the movie.  We had prepared well ahead of time, or so we thought.  Unfortunately, the new actors never showed up for filming.  This meant that I spent many long hours with the remaining team to produce a short animation to a voice over of parts of our original script.  The end result is not too bad, but the web-quality version lost some subtle visual effects due to aliasing.  I directed and animated this film.

For this movie we were able to get most of the team from the previous year together to work on the movie along with some new members.  This is the first time we entered the contest using the team name of Active Ignorance, which have used ever since.  In this movie we experimented with using a number of animation techniques to tell smaller stories that were found on an imaginary website.  I directed and made the graphics for the opening title sequence.

This movie was the first Campus Moviefest project that I was really excited about.  We had an enthusiastic team and a good story to work with.  I directed the movie and wrote the opening piano theme.  Unfortunately, we had not planned enough time for final editing; however, the main theme of the movie is still apparent even though some dialog is lost.
